Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account: email, password (stored hashed), company name, first name, phone, trades and ZIP codes.
• Billing: handled by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer and subscription IDs, never your full card number.
• Usage: last login, leads you mark in your pipeline, notes, and calculator inputs.

What we don't do

We don't sell your personal information or share it for advertising.

Services that help us run Toolbox Local

• Stripe — payments.
• Resend — sending email.
• OpenStreetMap — map tiles.
• U.S. Census Bureau and Google — turning permit addresses into map locations.
• Our hosting and database providers — storing your account securely.

Cookies

We use browser storage to keep you signed in. We don't use advertising cookies, and we don't currently use referral cookies.

Permit data and homeowners

Leads come from public building-permit records published by the City of Bakersfield and Kern County. We never show property owner names to contractors, in exports, emails or printed mail. Postcards are addressed to "Current Resident".

If you're a homeowner and want your address hidden from Toolbox Local, email privacy@toolboxlocal.com with the address. We'll remove it from every contractor view.

Deleting your account

Cancel any subscription in Settings, then email privacy@toolboxlocal.com from your account email. We'll delete your account and personal data within 30 days, except billing records we must keep by law.
